The nomad House is a kind of experimental satellite workshop, an “art experience” traveling the world, with the objective of stimulating artistic innovations, both individual and collective, stimulating rich and new exchanges between communities of different origins, cultures, education, thanks to artistic expression, drawing-photo-painting-mix media, sculpture..

The nomad House is enriched continuously on a set of contacts, a network of people and a fertilizer of knowledge and thoughts.

Artists from all over the world, famous or not, advanced or self-taught, young artists from Art Schools or people coming from all kind of Universities, people coming from all kinds of other businesses, all of them can meet one day in a workshop of The nomad House.

Origins

At the origin of the story, BettyK, French artist, globe trotter sharing her time between the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, her Studio Gallery ,Studio 11 , the Art League in NY or the Woodstock School of Art. She meets with many artists and professors , but she is trying to find something different : a specific workshop where the fusion between artists and atypical mentors will stimulate creativity, upsetting emotions and provide the energy that moves the boundaries of real and imaginary.

 

 

Short meeting and long story

BettyK discovers what she was looking for, a studio in a small hidden alley near La Bastille, very old borough in Paris, full of craft studios, painters, sculptors, led by two artists from the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris.

And these two artists are “different” , they consider that art is starting when people meet and exchange, they consider that “ art transmission is art”

So their transmission, both individual, almost intimate, and collective of their inexhaustible knowledge in arts cumulated to their unusual way to push the artists to inflame their own story and history , becomes part of the artwork based on the exchange.

This way of transmission raises powerful creations and unique works , thanks to the collective creativity.

The discovery is done, the road is on

The nomad BettyK proposes to Olivier and Gonzalo to follow her and transpose this workshop like no other in different countries, for people with different cultures.

The BettyK Mix Studio, a gift to the community

During the workshops BettyK Mix Studio of La maison nomade, each artist , in his act of artistic creation, receives and gives to the community a little piece of his story, history, methods, emotions, culture..

After the workshops, the art works are exhibited on internet thanks to Cellfish Media , and in a Gallery, or Embassy, Consulate, Hotel. Each artist is committed to donate one of his artworks, that will be sold in a Charity for children to help them to access to the arts.
